Where network setting are written!

Guys,

I need to give detailed instructions to some colleagues on which
network files have to be edited to change network settings in TSL 3.0

I've installed and configured some complex web sites, but now this
server needs to be moved on a remote site with a different network,
address, router etc...

I've identified these two files, please correct me if it's a mistake:

/etc/sysconfig/network

NETWORKING=yes
HOSTNAME=xxxxx.xxxx.it
NOZEROCONF=yes
GATEWAYDEV=eth0
GATEWAY=192.168.137.1

/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0

DEVICE=eth0
BOOTPROTO=static
BROADCAST=192.168.XXX.XXX
IPADDR=192.168.137.180
NETMASK=255.255.255.0
NETWORK=192.168.137.0
ONBOOT=yes

I'm trying to understand "where" Trustix 3.0 writes dns asked during
the initial installation (so the dns used to perform lookup queries).

In this case my internal dns has the ssame address of the gateway
"GATEWAY=192.168.137.1", but what would happen if the dns address
completely different?

In which file and in which form it should be visible?

Thank you!
